Exploring the Christian faith
If you would like to explore the Christian faith further we recommend the following:
Confirmation service
- Consider talking with one of our church ministers, they would be very happy to chat with you about any questions you have and can tell you about any courses we might be running currently. Contact a minister
- We recommend the Pilgrim Way, as a good introductory guide to the core beliefs of the Christian faith.
- Reading the Bible
Although picking up a Bible and reading it can seem very difficult in terms of knowing where to start, we recommend these Daily Reflections from the Bible Society, which will take you through the Bible in a year.
- Feel free to come to one of our services, or drop in after a service for a coffee and chat with someone.
- You might also like to consider getting baptised and confirmed. These are two wonderful ways of using the symbolism of water and light to express new birth and renewed lives, as signs of faith in the love of God.
