October Sermon Series

In October 2020, we took part in Black History Month, by thinking about issues of Racial Justice in the sermon slot at our 11am service. The main feature of each sermon was a recording of members of St James sharing their thoughts.

TALK 1 - SHARING
Why it’s important for all of us to share in thinking about issues of Racial Justice, just as God shares in our humanity

TALK 2 - CELEBRATING
Celebrating, the contributions that BAME people have made to this country, as told by St James members.

TALK 3 - RACISM
Racism, especially the hidden side of it, as shared by members of St James, who have either experienced it or seen it happen to others

TALK 4 - CHANGE
St James members share their hopes for change, what needs to happen to make our world racially just, and what role their faith plays in that.
